Here are some tips for a non-injury pole workout.
1. Do you skip your warm ups?
Skipping warm ups is a extremely common occurrence here with pole fitness.
People show up late and say to themselves, oh, I am fine I do not need a warm up today.
Well, regardless if you don't feel like it, or because they just couldn't be bothered it's a big no no!
2. Are YOU hiding behind your clothes?
In such a supportive and body confident industry there is a lot of you who don't want to show a little skin.
Usually this is a worry of beginners. Eventually, clothing diminishes as the student progresses and finds they need more skin to grip the pole for more advanced moves and routine.
Interesting fact though, most of you are afraid to take your clothes off at home as well?! I'm sure this is because of the lack ...

As you all know I am going to be in the Zero Gravity Poletergeist IV performance this coming October 16th- Saturday in Fargo, ND, as well as I am in the process of relocating Jez-Mir-Izing, AND that my family and I were hit by a moose in June... what some of you may not be aware of is, life likes to throw stuff at us hard... Regardless of what life is throwing at me, I am continually catching those things and utilizing them to my advantage. Today is Enthusiastic "How to Thursday" for March 2021. I want to talk to you about "How to be enthusiastic when dealing with grief'. Now when I say grief, I do not mean the loss of a loved one (human form), I mean the loss of your own behavior, habit, or (insert what it is that you have had to lose, or need to lose) for the best interest of you.
First of all I want to applaud you for opening this vlog up and taking the time to read this for you. I am proud of you and I am here for you. Next, I need you to truly take a moment and go deeply into your soul and seek what it is that you are grieving- it could be someone, but ultimately I am looking for what you know needs to go or has gone and now it is time to take the next steps to heal.
So here are the next action steps that I encourage you to implement in the next month for you, your sanity, health and wellbeing.
It's important that you let out your feelings, because if you keep them bottled up you will e...
Define dedication... well dedication to me is the ability to reach a goal no matter what gets in your way...
So what does dedication look like for you (drop a comment)? For me it's every task at hand I need to get through in order to achieve my goal.
Here are some steps I use for dedication:
1. Set BIG goals (when we challenge ourselves, we push harder to achieve it).
2. Plan the steps necessary to reach them (even if it stings...).
3. Know that everyday matters
4. JUST GO FOR IT (as my running coach states "run, walk, crawl, scoot. Do whatever you need to to get " in" April Lund). Do not try to change the plan, meadle the plan either (it"ll bite you later).
5. Build a NO-MATTER- WHAT mindset.
6. Develop your routine for the steps then goal achieved.
7. Commit
8. Appreciate the change and transformation process.
9. Embrace the wins achieved
10. Repeat ;)

Do you ever get sick of being SORRY for others personal issues?
This was me a few ago back, I would constantly say sorry... I mean it was for even using a pen, HA, A PEN! Okay, when you get to this point and you feel the need to be apologetic chronically... you KNOW its time to stop.
So, here are a few things to ponder on...
1. When you say sorry ALL the time, are you REALLY sorry or is it a habit?
2. Why are you saying it?
3. Who are sorry to
4. What are you sorry for
5. How are you sorry

Serenity... what does this mean to you?
Well, to me it means that I need to be sure to take time for me and do the things I enjoy.
So, let me ask you a question... what are thing that you like to do?
For me, it is really quite simple, I like to swing while watching my chickens, cats, Gizmo (dog) and daughter play. Looking at my flowers, garden, journaling, meditating and taking baths (in the candle lit darkness) mmm, poling, riding bike, sometimes running... Okay, so those are mine, what are yours?
There are soooo many things to do here on earth, that for us to say "nothing" or "I don't know" is such bullshit. So my challenge to you is to make a list with what your strengths and challenges are and then go out and challenge yourself to do those challenges OR enjoy doing your strengths.
Either way you are taking time for you and being serene for you.
